How do I work?

I take a humanistic approach to therapy, placing you in the driving seat to explore at your own pace. In providing a safe and confidential therapeutic space, I work with you to reflect on and explore your thoughts, feelings and life events to help you gain clarity and a greater understanding of yourself.

I use a range of methods in therapy to help support our work, including talking, games, and creative outlets.

I adhere fully to the Ethical Framework of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), details of which can be found here:

https://www.bacp.co.uk/events-and-resources/ethics-and-standards/ethical-framework-for-the-counselling-professions/

All of my work is fully insured, and supervised in accordance with BACP guidelines. I also hold a DBS certificate which is available to view on request.
